Lighter relief is provided by another American show, Make Me A Song, that introduces the quirky musical voice of Broadway composer William Finn, whose work is barley known over here, to British ears. With 35 songs drawn from his work, an attractive, talented ensemble that includes such fine West End veterans as Sally Ann Triplett and Frances Ruffelle, as well as former Steps performer Ian H Watkins, give heart and craft to a show that exemplifies Finn's credo: "You gotta have heart and music/heart and music get along".

Presented by Junkyard Dog Productions, Demos Bizar Entertinment and Surefire Theatrical in association with Larry Hirschhorn, Remmel T Dickinson, Jayson Raitt and Mariano Tolentino, Jr.
